Was looking through our little county wide ad shopper that comes every week and found this:

Up to $5000 Reward for Arrest and Incarceration of Thief & return of stolen MP5-H&K gun in black nylon case. Stolen from area storage building. All calls strictly confidential. 903 4** ****

Neighbors if I had a H&K MP5 it WOULD NOT be stored in U-Rent-um store and rob. What was this guy thinking? It would be within reach if not within sight at all times if mine. Even if this guy is LEO is he in a world of hurt because he let a class III weapon out of his control? Would you have posted this in a county wide paper? unreal! :0
 
A disassembled MP5 receiver would fit nicely into a safety deposit box. At about $50 per year, it's also cheaper than a U-Store joint. Gee, with the price of hi-cap magazines, they should go in there too!

Now, what about the Thompson in the guitar case. Does anybody think it would raise eyebrows when you walk into a bank?

The guy may just be "disappearing" a gun he doesn't want to have disappear in a future gun grab.
