Heard Ventura on the radio this morning. He was on his book tour and commented about Hitler and various SE Asean friends of the people using gun registration to later target gun owners. "This is not Filippines", the interviewer said. "So!?"

I am still glad he won over the other two critters...warts and all.
 
You got to admire a public figure who will speak his mind. Especially when he thinks alot like us. Yeh, he's got warts, but I still like him.
 
having witnessed one governor who most every one said was hopeless, ugly and extremely warty( Lester Maddox), folks may be surprised by the job he does, after all, he only owes the voters, not the machine.
lester wasn't perfect, but he did better than most folks figured he would do.

And he sure could handle a GE Minigun in "The Predator". ;) Ok, ok, he would have been on his big arse after the first burst, but it looked cool. The more I hear him talk, the more common sense he seems to have.

Ventura may have some warts, but they are clearly visible to any who look.

Like he said, he wasn't thinking about his political viability when he was 18 and 19. I respect a guy that admits, even brags, about visiting a prostitute more than a guy who smokes but doesn't inhale.
