Town Hall Meeting for Rep. Bill Luther (D-6th)

Please attend one or more of the town hall meetings listed below. These
meetings offer a tremendous opportunity for you to personally voice your
opposition to any additional legislation that further erodes our freedoms.
Be sure when you attend these meetings, you urge your lawmakers to oppose
any gun control amendments to the congressional juvenile justice bill. To
make your experience at these events as productive as possible:

1. Prepare questions ahead of time.

2. Get a direct answer to your question. Ask your question clearly, and as
simply as possible. If your legislator doesn't answer your question to
your satisfaction, politely follow up by repeating your original question.
Remember, your lawmakers work for you!

3. Follow up with a letter. Whether you had the opportunity to ask your
question or not, follow up with a letter to your lawmaker. Let him know
the specific town meeting you attended. Ask your question in your letter
if you didn't have an opportunity to do so at the meeting, and ask for a
response. If your question was addressed, repeat it in the letter, and ask
for his response in writing for your records. Send any responses you
receive to the Grassroots Division as well for our files. The Grassroots
Division address is 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030, Fax: (703)
267-3918.

on these issues will affect your voting decisions in the next election!Dec. 11, 9-10 a.m. Andover City Hall, 1685 Crosstown Blvd NW, Andover.
