Mini-Draco and Arm Brace?

Capt. Mako

I tried to search and did not find any recent information, so:

I have a chance to buy a Mini Draco. I know the arm braces can be mounted to this little blaster.

What's the most recent legal opinion from the ATF? Not legal to mount the arm brace on your shoulder?

Just toying with the idea of buying the Mini Draco. Thanks for any help.

Pistol with an arm brace is legal to own and shoot, BUT if you put the brace to your shoulder, that "redesigns" it into a rifle stock (and likely an unregistered SBR). Shooting from a cheek weld is legal though.

MINE With folding arm braces.

IMHO
Rifle caliber "pistols" are obnoxiously loud w/o much value for actual use.
I have 2 AR "pistols" with 11.5" barrels that are "special purpose" use only and very seldom fired. With the right optics, my AR pistols are rifle accurate but overly unpleasant for casual shooting.

They are fun however. I usually wear plugs and a clam myself. Hearing protection is important to me. Pick of mine before i sanded it and stained it better.
