Mini 30 magazine conversions

I would really love to have a Ruger Mini 30. However the lack of 20 or 30 round magazines leaves less than excited about purchasing one. Does anyone know of someone of some way to convert the Mini 30 to take AK-47 magazines? Thanks
 
Good question..I would be very interested in this conversion myself,if it is workable.
Heres another question,how does the mil surp 7.62x39 go in these rifles?Ive heard they are not really compatable due to the slight size differance between 308 barrel and the comblock round. Was also told they cause gauling in the stainless barrels...any truth to this?
