Mini 14's Value

I seen a used Mini 14 Stainless that seemed to be in pretty good shape today for $399.00.Is this a deal or a dud....Comes with 1, 5 round mag. Also owner of shop says he would gaurantee it to function properly.Thanks for any replies!!!! Wood grips.

I bought a brand new Mini for $460 with Synthetic stock. Thats about right for a good condition stainless steel. Is it a Ranch or standard? I have a Ranch but I'd like to get the Standard Model with open sights. I hear better things about the Stainless Steel Mini's than the Blued. I don't know why but if you search this site you'll find people usually have good luck with the New Stainless ones.

I bought my used stainless Mini 14 last Spring. I paid $450 and got him to throw in a Super Nintendo and 2 games. (I had to get something for my fiance to make it even.) Mine is preban with a 30 and a 5 round mag and it has a welded flash supressor. I'd say $399 is a good price.
