Mini-14 Magazine Question

Not sure if anyone has done this, if it can be done, or if anyone knows where it CAN be done, but...

Can a Mini-14 mag well be modified to use AR-15 mags?

I do not wish to ignite an AR v. Mini debate, all I'm looking for is information on if this modification can be performed, if so where or who does it.

Probably not. However, one company, makes a mag that fits both guns. I forget which, but they sell the mags over at http://www.deltaforce.com Or at least the used to, last time I checked.

For Ryan's question, No.

The company who made a magazines that fits both the AR and MINI-14 is Ramline. These magazines are good and hold the bolt-open, BUT they break and are very fragile. You are just better off getting Precision Magazines(PMI), check Delta Force website, and around the net for PMI's(30, 20-rounders). The cost for PMI's should not exceed $50-60. A good price for a PMI(30rd)is $39. Hope this helps. Later-on.
