I did not vote as I seldom carry and have never owned a G19.
I do own a P320 compact 9mm and do plan to use it as a carry weapon.
I have certainly shot Glock 19s and other Glock models enough to know that I preferred the P320 by a wide margin.
The Glock slide is a bit thinner which can make it a little easier to carry. The lower bore axis also decreases the overall pistol height a bit for any given magazine capacity. But I hate the grip angle and the feeling that I am holding a 2x4 in my hand. What's more, the damn finger grooves don't fit me.
The G17 and G19 both have three finger grooves on the grip but those on the G17 are obviously wider. Does Glock intend the G19 to only be used by smaller people? Or do they think that people's hands naturally shrink when they are shooting a compact pistol? And, I'm sorry but a pistol that costs $500 or more should not come with cheap plastic sights better suited for a toy water pistol.
Although the P320 is not quite as compact, it has a grip that fits my hand very comfortably and it points much more naturally than a Glock. The trigger is better and I was able to buy one with night sights for no more than I would have paid for a new Gen 4 Glock 19. What's more, with the P320 compact I was able to buy a subcompact grip module that works just fine with the compact slide and barrel. A small subcompact grip module has no rail, a rounded trigger guard and is, of course shorter so it conceals much more easily. A subcompact grip module and two subcompact 9mm mags set me back a total of $105. And the longer compact sized mags work fine with the subcompact grip.
