Howdy. I've always liked the concept of the adjustable tension holster. I need a good belt holster for my 1911 and I've had my eye on the #1AT for quite some time. I checked Milt Sparks' website and they no longer catalog the #1AT. It has been replaced by an IDPA legal pancake style holster. The IDPA website states that the #1AT is NOT IDPA legal. Why? I reckon Milt Sparks would make me #1AT if I begged. Would it be a good choice for range and field carry? How about concealed carry when wearing a long jacket? Thanks.
