That could be FUN if a bunch of self defense advocates show up. Did you post this on AR-15.com yet. They are a fanatical group.
 
AR15.com folks also tend to go for volume and rude comments over reason...not all and not always but often enough. Not good for debates.
 
Unfortunately our members disgraced themselves with crude language and insults, merely solidifuing the belief of the Anti's that we are a bunch of a$$holes.

Yes there were those of us who were less then cordial but there were M&M's who did the same. All in all, it was very chaotic. Would like to do it again..

Thanks for the reports-- I got busy with a dead icemaker ( crisis in the south! ) & didn't get to log on.
Sounds like "we" could have done better ( hey, we know the MMM's are horse's patoots, we don't need to emulate them )-- but there're be other opportunities. Thanks, guys!
 
I was on before the 9 p.m. start. So chaotic (too many posts, too fast) that I had to leave after about 10 minutes.

The two things I DID manage to catch:

1) they had NO "pro-gun-rights" people on their panel

2) One of the drones started off "The 2nd is a COLLECTIVE right, as defined by the Supreme Court in 1934".

Pretty funny.
 
Proposal.....

Everyone that was present for the event has stated how chaotic the chat was. I had a thought.

**Would it be possible for the members of Firing Line to get together somehow and elect a panel or spokesperson to engage the antis in meaningful dialog if an opportunity should present itself in the future?** We could appoint someone who has the skills and knowledge to go toe to toe with them and influence anyone who can be?

Any thoughts? Is it possible? Any volunteers!
