OK SECOND AMMENDMENT SUPPORTERS. The Million
Mom March was some good yucks in Miss Demeaners String but if you think we can just
afford to sit back in our armchairs an ignore
the dire threat that they pose to our rights;
then you can start marking off the days to Konfiscation on your {calindair,} however its spelled!

The MAD MOMS AGAINST DRUNK DRIVERS
accomplished a major change in the drinking & driving habits of millions of americans.

What lets you think that these MAD MOMS will not do as well, only this time, to
us.They have the backing of many national publications and I'll just bet that the main stream press and the socialist controled TV media jump on the band wagon with both feet.

We should be planning some counter
stratergy or something. Maybe another write
your congressman and representative snail
mail hard copy campaine.

I dont believe we can afford to just
sit back and let Slick Willie get his picture
on TV at the head of 30,000 MAD MOMS.I can just here him now: It is the will of the american people---...---How can I refuse
this legislation in the face of americia"s Mothers?? BLa, bla,bla, BS,BS,BS.

So, are were going to let this take us by suprise and counter with off balance knee jerk reaction like we usually do, or are we going to start planning ahead like inteligent people.

We do have some time to organize something, but only if we start soon. We are already playing catch -up ball.The Million Moms already have 100 organizers working to get more mad moms after our collective butts
and as I said , the help of major media to recrute more mad moms.

THere is virtually nothing we can do without some bigtime endorsement and organization. If the NRA, GOA and others would sponsor some kind of counter event with correlating corporate support, we might have a chance. As it stands - no company is going to publically back us. Also, the NRA would never stick their necks out on this. They might come out on the losing end. I don;t see much hope for us on this one. THe media disinformation campaign has worked and now that the Mom's are against us... well you know. The media will lap this up bigtime. Can you imagine the positive, free publicity this is going to generate? My God!!
 
A poster at my boards is sending this info to WAGC today. Im not sure exactly how many members are in it but there are at least 1,000. Im sure they will back it. We have until next year to get something going. They do not have a million moms, in fact no where near that yet, so dont worry too much just yet. For all we know there will be 10 moms marching and thats it. Encourage any women you know to keep writing and calling!
 
They can't get their million moms just thru the internet....they will have to have public and regional recruitment gatherings. Thats when we can really do something. Moms such as Miss D and myself, your wives, etc can make our point known.

Alas, as Cassidy noted, there will be an awful lot of free publicity that the media will play up against us. If it becomes known, even if it fizzles, we are fighting another uphill battle

I am currently assisting the founder and others in the creation of an organization called Mothers Arms. It is dedicated to helping moms understand self defense and firearms issues, and will also provide resources for training, a discussion forum specifically for mom's, true stories of self defense and many other features.

There are many mom's out there that don't buy into this foolishness, and we hope to help them join together and make sure their voices are heard.

Look for it on the web at www.mothersarms.org in the next few weeks.
