Military Sleeping BAG

I helped clean out an attic this week. Came across an 11 pound military bag with mosquito screen made out of tan 100% prime Japana Kapok. How do I clean it? It is cool, it has a bottom pocket for a padded floor liner. The mosquito hood is awesome. Would it be respectful to reuse it? The owner did not die in action, he was one of General Westmorland's Colonels.

The tag is pretty old it's Japara Kapok. Doesn't have much else that you can read on it. A knowledgeable dry cleaners should know. At 11 lbs, it lets you know what the soldiers had to lug around. But with my 3.5 lb Hollofill bag in it,it will be warm.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, go around and find the oldest dry cleaner you can as he is the only one likely to know how to clean this stuff :)

If he hands out butterscotch candies and wears a cardigan you've found your man!

Or you could call up DOD and ask for some info on this stuff.
