military headstamps

Another question for those wiser than me. I believe I have a hundred 30-06 cases with military headstamps. I understand that LC on the head stands for Lake City, which I've heard are very good cases. There are also a couple of numbers on the head. I am guessing that they denote the date of manufacture??? If I hold the case so that the LC is at the top, would the numbers then be correct if read them left to right?

OK. Next question. Does anyone out there want 100 Lake City cases from 67? I have run them through a full length small base resizing die and treated corncob media, then wiped the dust off of them. I just don't want to develop a load for them for my rifles. I figure somebody out there with an M-1 Garand could use them with a basic load. ??? Oh yeah, I forgot to say free.

If you still have them, I'll take them.

PM me and I'll get you my snail mail addy, I'll send you the money to cover shipping, should fit into a small flat rate box.

My 1903 Springfield will appreciate them.
