I've been hearing mixed reviews on this act going through congress. On one hand it's supposed to "create a fair and constitutionally sound framework for trying suspected terrorists." On the other hand it supposedly suspends habeas corpus in favor of putting the keys in the hands of the executive. (but I suppose that would imply we haven't suspended it already?)
