OK, so this is way OT, but still interesting. There's a video of the LOSAT (Line Of Sight Anti Tank) missile, which, when you watch it from the target view, is moving unbelievably fast.
In the weapons section, there's some additional detail. It's a kinetic energy weapon with the impactor weighing 174 lbs and being 6" in diameter. Travelling at 5000fps!!! With the help of my handy/dandy bullet kinetic energy calculator, that comes up to over 67.5 MILLION ft/lbs energy.

If you ever get a chance to watch the History Channel's - Tales of the Gun - there was an episode on "The History of Smith&Wesson" and there was a segment on Miculek's revolver shooting. The 8 shots in a second and 6 shots , reload and 6 more in 2.9 sec. are both on there!
