Miculek Speed Revolver Grip installation

Hi,
About 2 years ago I bought a Miculek grip for my 625. They were not new when I got them, but I got a pretty good deal on them. I tried to instal them on the 625 I had then. No go. Now I have a different 625 and they won't fit this one either. Here are the details.
The keeper that attaches to the bottom of the frame is *very* tight in the race way that it's supposed to descend. I can over come that, but even when I took it out the top of the grip is smaller than the fram of the gun. I don't want to split them so I didn't force them.
It appears that they are just a little undersize. So, what to do? I really don't have a clue where they were originally purchased so returning or exchanging them is not an option. I have not the tools or skills to work on them myself. Suggestions?

Hi, charleym3. I'd suggest contacting Jerry Miculek directly, either through his brother-in-law, Jim Clark Jr. at Clark Custom Guns in Princeton, LA ([318] 949-9884), or his wife, Kay Clark Miculek - her business is Clark Guns & Personal Safety in Bossier City, LA ([318] 742-7230). I'm sure he can suggest ways and means to fit the grips. If you send the gun and grips to Clark Custom Guns, they can probably fit the grips for you. Ask Jim Clark Jr. about this.

The plastic bag is marked NR I presume that means N frame Round butt. The person I got them from said that he also had trouble getting them on. I should have read the writing on the wall.
I sent an email to ClarkCustomGuns. Still waiting to hear what they have to say. I layed the whole thing out for them. I wouldn't be surprised if they say "Sorry", but you never can tell.
