Microsoft is anti-gun

So are ALOT of other Corps. This is sad, they want to deprive us of our Bill of Rights.

Hey ArmySon, thanks for the link ... perhaps you should have put a "barf alert" on the header.

This stuff is abso-bloody-lutely sick-making!!

My company has a "no Microsoft" policy, and is Macintosh-based. I'll be doing my utmost to see it stays that way.

Doesn't look like selling out has done ol bill much good though. I fail to see why a corporation finds it necessary to engage in political activities, there must be some kind of pay off for it.

This just goes to show how scared the media is of the NRA. Did you see the one cartoon with Heston and the two chickens in the whitehouse. Boy does the thought of the NRA adding to the republican majority in the house and senate, along with the presidency, scaring these people.... :)

The debate is not about guns,
but rather who has the ultimate power to rule,
the People or Government.
RKBA!

There's a pro self-defense cartoon at the bottom of page 5 and a funny one at the bottom of page 13. The rest of them show an appalling lack of understanding of the NRA's positions, its members, guns, and about anything else you can think of. The twits even trash the first amendment on several occasions.

FWIW, my cousin (unfortunately now deceased due to cancer) was a member of an informal gun owners group at Microsoft. I know Frank got a number of emails on current events regarding guns through this group, as he would sometimes forward them to me. Management may be officially anti, but there were also some good folks there.

In general, IT people tend to be logical-thinking engineer types. Thus they can generally be reasoned with, unlike, say, the Rosie crowd. There also tends to be a strong streak of independance among computer techies(just read a little bit of slashdot.org, for example), offset by general societal anti-gun brainwashing.

Old News, yes Bill Gates is an anti.
Yes it was completely with out base for the (in)Justice department to go after Microsoft. It just shows you that even if you are agree with the Klintons on certain points, you are not protected from any of his BS antics.

Speaking as someone who works within the industry, and has for 20 years, there is nothing benign about Microsoft's actions in the last 20 years. Without going into the long details, those of us who use Microsoft's products pay much more than we should for the priviledge. That only happens in a market controlled by a monopoly. You may not realize you are getting screwed, but that doesn't change the facts.

Interesting.
Not the topic, but the misconception. I recommend you do a little research into Mr. Gates. Is he anti gun? Yes. Is he Microsoft? No.

Well, I hope everything turns out for the better for the Microsoft Gun Club.
They are on the receiving end of a Socialist attack on free trade.
As for the anti-gunner sell-outs at the top...
