Micrometer airgun sights

Generally speaking air rifles are short range propositions and a good set of micromete sights with an interchangable front post/circle can really wring the possible accuracy of the rifles out!
Divisions on the rear sights aen't cut into Yards or Meters rather for use as a referance point for setting.
The interchangable fronts allow for pinpoint needle topped front post accuracy or as a circle, surrounding the bull and allowing for a entered shot.
For the rear, you can also add a peep sight which increases the sight span by about 50% and helps center the shot even better!
Peeps work well to around 45-50 yards.
Open sights are easier to use than a scope for close in quick shots.
Mst rear sights have very wide plates that help level the gun for an accurate shot!
Before you scope that airgun, try the open sights first!

You're not going to improve the accuracy of anything by just spending a pile of money on micrometer sights. Peep sights don't increase anything either. They only eliminate trying to get your eye to focus on 3 things at once.
If an air rifle is not a target air rifle, ain't nothing going to make it one.

By the same token, a precise rifle with crappy sights will never shoot to it's potential.

It's not about improving the accuracy of the gun

It's about making it easier for the shooter to take advantage of the accuracy that already exists

T. O., aperture (peep) sights improve the precision of aiming. They also sharpen the target image while focussing the aiming eye on the front sight which is what's best to focus on. Much better scores are shot with aperture sights than standard open sights. They produce almost as good of scores on bullseye targets as scopes do.
