Michelle's going shopping!

This weekend, thanks to the generosity of the folks that hang out at The Firing Line and a few of Chris' friends at work, Chris' wife received a check/cash for donations in the amount of $401.43. And darned if another donation didn't come in afterwards! (She'll get that too.) Chris tells me they'll be shopping this week, so look for a message about her final choice. BG's you're on notice! Do Not mess with the lady, unless you can outrun a bullet!

A big thanks to the members. People helping people made this country! (Now, if we can just get the government to understand that, and back off!)

Makes you kinda proud to be part of something bigger than yourself. Michelle, I know you have practiced with the 1911,45, but if you have small hands the .40cal. Browning silver chrome is easier to use. But, hey anyone who likes the gun I love shouldn't be denied. Get a good one! Sword, let us know if she can't find what she wants, we can dig a little deeper!

Pssst! CMOS, don't you carry an HK? :D

Personally, if it was me, I'd get my 6th Glock... But then again, I don't see anything wrong with another 1911 (See, I'm not bigoted either way! :D). But that's me, and not her, and she should get what she's comfortable with...

...but not a Sig! :p

Michelle, I'm very happy for you, glad you will have one of your own. This is good bunch of people here on TFL.

I have thought of this as "Project .45" so it would be nice if a 1911 finds a new home.

Yes, I want to thank all the TFL crew for doing something beyond just words for my wife
Michelle, it is true that actions speak louder than words, and that TFL'ers talk the talk, AND walk the walk.

We went to two places in Plano, Tx (1)The bullet trap (2)gunmasters. And she still has no idea what she wants now that she has seen the display case full of goodies, I will try to have her scale back the caliber, simply because my Colt just has to much travel thru the walls of our home.

Don't forget that there is a Dallas Market Hall Show this coming weekend. Bachman and David Avery will both be there.

Psssst! Bulldog, yes I carry the HK. :p

I expect that the grip on the HK's are too big for most women.

Glocks huh? They're such "cute" guns. :D

Gunmaster had a used Sig225 in 9mm that looked to be in pretty good shape when I was in there a few days ago. It was right around $425.
