Messed up my Form 1 Application...

You folks will have to forgive my ignorance. I submitted my Form 1 to make an SBR, but on the barrel length, I put the current length of 16"

This was my first time submitting paperwork. I'l called the NFA branch in WV, and the lady on the phone was very nice. She said my application would be sent back to me with 30 days to put the correct barrel length on it. I would also be able to send it directly to an examiner and not have to wait another 6-8 weeks.

Has anyone else goofed on a Form 1?

Yep, my last one I only sent one copy. The second copy fell between the wall and desk and I didn't notice it for 3 weeks. Luckily they ran a copy for me and I got it back in 4 weeks.

you should be able to file an ammendment and not have to resend the whole thing. A guy on another forum I frequent (az shooting) did the same thing and they just let him file an ammendment to the original.

Yeah, I once listed my first name as "sheila"
delayed the application for 6 months.
