I have a 1970s 870 Wingmaster set up for HD. I got a right side 4 shot shell holder for christmas from my fiance. This thing is great! They make extremely high quality products. If anyone is considering adding a side saddel, check out www.mesatactical.com. Way better than Tacstar. Made of aircraft aluminum and has a lifetime warrenty. Plus insertion/extraction of shells is silent and they are in securely but easily removed. I'd pay the extra $20-25 for aluminum over plastic with no warrenty. Their craftsmenship on all of their products is amazing.
Their customer service is great. I spoke to a sales rep at a gunshow in Belton and told him I made the mistake of getting a right-side holder because I shoot right handed and the shell digs into my knuckle. He said he'd get me a panel to convert it to left side for free. I called them today and they are shipping it to me for free. A great company to deal with. My next shottie will wear their AR stock kit.
