first, thats hardly a price to get all excited about .... ur link is $0.35/round.... 1.2 sec serch on ammo seek and ur in the .20s

2nd what a steel penitrator going to do to an ar500 steel target??
 
thorn74 Top Quality cost more . Yes that is a price to get excited about,that is 2011 Win Ranger ammo ,the best of the best .Not old surplus,pratice,seconds,loose packed, or rejects. You can not get Win Ranger 855 for that price any where else. I could care less who buys it " I got Mine" . FYI Winchester Ranger ammo is the cream of the crop . If you don't know what it is you should probably stick to something cheaper anyway . Only a fool would shoot steel targets with 855 . :eek:

I ordered two cases, we'll see how it shoots. Never hurts to have some extra ammo sitting on the shelf. I have a new, well it's actually unfired though I've had it for years, Mini-14 that needs some barrel berak-in....
 
Academy has crap monarch at 4.99/20, dirty but I strip it down to the firing pin everytime so no worries. They had it on sale a while ago for 3.99/20

Had to go back several times to get enough they only had 20 or so boxes out at once.

100 yards. Got tired and lazy (at least that's the excuse I use)
