Meps on a Springfeild V10 ?

I,ve got a Springfeild V10 ultra compact and want to change the hard to see front sight's ? Do they make mep's nite sight's for this gun and does it require any gun smithing ? Also this gun has a ported barrel , will this afect the front sight from the hot relief of the port {dis-color} ? Thank's

I don't think its possible to put night sights on a Springfield V10. There is not enough meat on the slide to properly put a front sight with a vial of tritium in it.

Besides, why do you need night sights on a V10 anyway? After your first shot, your night vision is already ruined with all of the exhaust gasses going out of the top.

This makes me wonder something.

I know in IPSC or IDPA one of em, you cannot use a compensated pistol.

Does anyone make a non-ported barrel for the V-10?

Couldn't you use it and then put your night sights on it?

I still carry mine. I think the huge columns of fire will scare the s__T out of any bad guys left after I double tap the first one!

It's damn accurate, and a lot of fun to shoot.
