Medium size 9mm recommendations?

"Medium" size - about like a Glock 19.

1) I'm partial to DA/SA guns.
2) I'd like a gun w/ a nice 4 to 5 pd SA pull, right out of the box, no need for a trigger job.
3) good accuracy, few stoppages, not ammo temperamental.

Any standouts come to mind?

Thanks

CZ P-01, CZ P-07, more towards the P-01 or CZ PCR, as the perfect midsize gun, if you don't mind a decocker hammer fired. The P-07 can be switched by the user from decocker to standard safety.
My personal picks from personal experience.

I think Sig P239 also is a good choice. It's more expensive than Glock. But I also believe, that most of the time we get what we pay for. It's heavier to carry, but also heavier to shoot.(recoil matters).

•CZ P-01, PCR, P-07
•Sig 228, 229
•Beretta PX4 Compact, 8000 Cougar
•Grand Power P1 Mk7
•Ruger P95
•Sar K2P, Tanfoglio Witness P (Small frame), Sar B6PC

You are describing the Walther P99AS to the letter.

Stoeger Cougar . . . same as the Beretta and can be had for $400 - $450 new. Great gun.

I had a PX4 Storm, interesting mechanism. I couldn't shoot it well, but that was all me - my landlord was able to do very well with it.

Edit to correct - I thought it was the compact, but it was the full size model.

Out of the box, the CZ P-07 trigger is better than the P-01/PCR.

I haven't fired the Sig 229, but if the trigger is the same as the 226, I'd put that a little ahead of the P-07 out of the box (though at $850, it's almost twice the price).

On the third hand, Cajun Gun Works sells their Pro-Grade P-07 for just $675. I know you specifically said you didn't want a trigger job, but does that really count if you're buying it new with the trigger-job already done?
