Ever notice how when your gun collection does not have an M1911 that you just can't sleep at night? Somehow life is incomplete.

But! Once you get that M1911 home in the stable... AHHH! Peaceful bliss.

I can hear it now, "Take two 1911's and call me in the morning." Perhaps we will need 24 hour gun shops for those times one can't sleep. ""Where are the sleep aids? You know, the 1911's and accessories? I need a 1911, a belt holster, two spare magazines and 100 rounds of JHP's." Of course then you will be up all night getting to "know" your new pistol, which would be a good reason not to get any sleep.

When I saw the title, I thought this thread was going to be about_permanently_ curing insomnia.

What you do is put the 1911 in the pillow case and lay your head on the pillow with great force. You go to sleep. You may have lumps and a headache in the morning but you must give up something for a good night's sleep.
