Medalist value

I have a Browning Medalist, no case or accesories, but I do have an extra mag. Gun shoots great but is not a collector. I wouldn't know what % to give it. Stocks have dings, so does the metal; a small pit or 2 here & there. Had a clamp on rail on the ventrib to mount a scope which left 4 marks on the rail. Any idea of value??? Is just collecting dust...

Does it go by the name "Lucky"?

Just kidding, just kidding. You know it's a shooter and personally, I wouldn't think a Medalist would make a great shooter due to it's weight and size. Also, I have never seen a Medalist advertised in that condition.....Heck, you never really said what condition percentage wise!

A well worn moderately dinged Medalist ought to be worth a couple of hundred to somebody. In 99% with a box and accessories they bring $750.00 to $800.00.

I know this is probably no help but basically it's hard to know.

I have one myself and wouldn't consider selling it.But not everyone is the same.Have you had a look at Guns America, they have several advertised there? Perhaps your best option would be to go down to your local gunshop and trade it on something you fancy more. After all, one man's trash is anothers treasure.
