I have a good number of MEC-GAR magazines for almost all of my pistols. Both the preban and postban types. They have all been high quality and reliable.
Friend of mine had two of em split at the juncture of the lips and back. Sent em in bout three months ago and heard nothing as yet. These were original equipment on a Sig 220. They hadn't failed to function but were cracking pretty badly.
I have lots of them. A shooting star mag came with my Kimber Pro Carry, would not lock the slide back after the last round. No such trouble with the MEG GARs. i also noticed they are the makers of the factory springfield armory mags. John
I have one for a P95 and it works fine. So does my ProMag, which cost less. I use the ProMags in my Glock and they work fine there also. Just receiced some more ProMagsfor 3 oher pistols today. I'll let you know if I have any problems.

Mec-Gar mags are the class act of the magazine business. They make original equipment mags for many (most?) of the gun companies. (SIG, Beretta, Witness, Kel-Tec, some of the Taurus handguns, S&W?, etc. etc.) They're as good as they get.
I believe they also make the mags for Walther. I've never seen or heard of anyone having a problem with a Mec-gar mag. 'Course, now that I say that............here comes the Mec-gar horror stories.
You know, like the one that shot out of the bottom of a pistol and broke the shooter's toe. Then bounced of and blinded the neighbor's cat, just before coming to rest in the ear of an anti-gunner's ear.
