Report from the TRT protest at the October Montgomery County MMM meeting
Temple Shalom Bethesda MD

5 from the MD Tranny Responce Team were there last night,
and the mom's were quite upset that we showed up at their secret meeting.

They hovered in the parking lot talking on cell phones for awhile.
i think they called the police.

Funny thing,
the police did drive by later with 2 cars, but they did not even look at us.

i was playing drum rolls, Another had a big ole American flag & a "Honk if you love Freedom" banner
& 3 others had other pro rights banners.

2 MMMers came out and approached our station at the sidewalk by the driveway to the parking lot.
They took our pictures with a disposable camera. We did mug it up and struck a patriotic pose.
Considering how dark it was, i doubt they got much identifiable from 40 feet away.
i returned fire with my digital camera. My flash lit them up like bunnies in the headlights of truth.

We had many drivers honk for Liberty!
We had a great level of success with metro bus drivers!
Some of the people at Temple that night were obviously not there for the MMM meeting.
They asked about our crew and when we explained why we were there, several said they
were on our side. Perhaps the Temple might feel some pressure from the members about
allowing further MMM meetings to taint the Temple.

One lady did drive up and accuse us of being anti semetic for having a protest at a Temple.
We tried to explain our point of view but she just wanted to kvetch like a sheeple yenta.

One guy came down and asked if we were the NRA.
He claimed to be an NRA member and tried to convince us
that a team of five was a waste of time and a pathetic display.
Me thinks he was a MMMer trying to break our sprit.

We were on station from 6:30 till almost 8 pm.
All in all, a good nights work.

We will return next month.

"[Even if there would be] few tears shed if and when the Second Amendment is held to guarantee nothing more than the state National Guard, this would simply show that the Founders were right when they feared that some future generation might wish to abandon liberties that they considered essential, and so sought to protect those liberties in a Bill of Rights. We may tolerate the abridgement of property rights and the elimination of a right to bear arms; but we should not pretend that these are not reductions of rights." -- Justice Scalia 1998

Great job!!!

I think you response to the "NRA" guy should have been

And if you join us we will be 6. Better to be a small group that is heard, then a large group that is herded.

Peace...

Wasn't it the JPFO org., that created one of the alltime great pro-Constitution posters?? The one where there are pictures of Stalin, Hitler, and Clinton, all with their right arms raised, with the logo, "All in favor of Gun Control, raise your right hand."

That's a poster that screws the lefty bliss ninnies right up through the ceiling!
