McCollough Colt Mis-fires Cured by Slix-Shot Nipples

I've got a question maybe you can expound upon...

Do the larger flash holes and side vents on these nipples split the fired percussion caps worse than brands that have small flash holes?

I've switched to a brand that has small flash holes and my caps now don't split and stay on the nipple causing less burns on the web of my hand from cap debris and no action jamming. Do these also do the same, at a better deal?

Also, any idea how hard they are?
 
Smaller flash holes perform better. These have smaller holes but they seem to be not quite as small as Trescos.

They are stainless steel, and are likely to be harder than the AMPCO bronze alloy Trescos are made from.
 
Like other talented folks such as Billy Bob Thornton, Sylvester Stallone, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, the only way I could get on screen was to write my own scripts. :D
