Hello all...
Just a quick note to let you know that Floyd is headed straight at us and may knock us down for a while.

Fran was not a very nice lady when she visited, and Floyd is her very nasty younger brother (kind of like "Evil Stan" from South Park). School closed, areas flooded, stores are empty. I'll stay in touch as long as possible.

Well... Floyd has passed and left behind some minor inconveniences... like...
a tree falling on the neighbor's house who woke us as 2 am this morning to use our phone...
no phone till this morning...
no electric until about a half hour ago...
some very cranky kids that got very little sleep last night from being scared during the storm...
lots of pine branches everywhere...
one lost garbage can...
that's about all!

Good luck those to the north... he ain't as tough as he pretended to be. Now, anybody seen Gert?
