M Mesa New member May 30, 2001 #1 I bought a VZ 24 Mauser the other day from the local gun shop ($69 ) and while cleaning the barrel I checked the twist rate. Every time I checked it, (several times), I came up with 1 in 4.5". That doesn't sound right to me. Anybody?
