Mauser Tactical?

I am looking for any ideas on why there are not any "Tactical" type stocks commonly availible for 98 Mauser actions. Plenty of suitable barrels in lots of calibers but I don't see the stocks like Accuracy International or Choate's "Ultimate Sniper". Am I missing something? Also would a Checz vz 24 be a good core for building such a rifle?

I'm currently using a Vz-based system that is capable of 1/4moa. McMillian makes the A2 with a cut for the MkX, which is fully compatible with the Vz.

The Vz is a good action, but precision parts are more expensive (less demand). My Canjar trigger, Speed-Lock firing pin, and Marine-Tex-bedded benchrest-style laminate stock allowed me to consistently outshoot the designated marksmen on my old team who used 700 PSS. Yeah, a little more expensive, but MUCHO reliable. In fact, the machine work on my action was so good that all I had to do was face the action for the barrel (Shilen #7 contour M/C). Used a .308 pull-through reamer from Brownell's, and got a truly accurate weapon. Use a 1-piece scope base.

Yeah with Midway the closest things are the Fajen Ace Varmiter and Walking Varmiter. Considering the Ace in Midnight. Too bad they have dropped the combrs with the Ace and Barrel.
