Mauser revolvers? Any info

Have a possible bargain on my hands. it is an old one, but new in the box. adjustable sight, long barrel

so cheap I can pay now and wait 6+months before I can get a license (Swedish laws that require 6months membership and a test) and I am in the process of getting that now

Since you say it is new in the box, I assume it is not one of the 19th century revolverrs made by Mauser, but one of the ones marketed by Mauser c. 1980.

AFAIK, those were never commercially imported into the U.S., and there is almost no information on them. Of course, there have been almost no sales to provide a basis for valuation.

For anyone interested, here is a link with about all I have been able to find out about them.

strange that link only talks about .38s, not 357 like the one I have seen.

but I figured it was some subcontract thing
