Mauser question

I know the Yugo M48 Mausers have a slightly shorter action than other Mausers like the K98k.

Where does the M24/47 fall in this line-up? Is the M24/47 action full-length, like the 98s, or does the M24/47 use the slightly shorter action of the M48?

I am no expert but will try to get you closer to your answer. I was "into" old surplus guns 30 years ago and to my recollection I believe the m24/47 was akin to the 1898 style action. It seems like people have referred to it as a short action but please verify this. I wish I could answer definitively.

The 24/47 is a rebuild of the original M-24 Yugo Mauser , which was an intermediate length action . The M-48 was based on the M-24 .

M1924, M24, M24/47, M48 (all variants) are all "intermediate length" actions.
M24/52 is full 'K98' length, as they were post-war rebuilds of 98 pattern guns (like the 'K98' and Vz.24).
