Saw the new Mauser M2 pistols today. Did not get to shoot one. I saw one in 45 and one 40. $419 each. They have a rotary barrel like on the Beretta Cougar. They seem well made but kind of thick. The safety is a very small switch on the back of the slide that slides left and right for fire and safe. Slides for both calibers appeared the same with barrel thickness changing to fill the hole in front of slide i.e. outside diameter of both caliber barrels appeared the same. Magazines for 40 and 45 also appeared identical except for feed lips. Makes me wonder about interchangeability of calibers.
