Mauser 93/95 bolts

I know the 93 bolt has the "flat" on the bottom of the bolt for better (so thought at first) cartridge feed. It was realized the flat wasn't needed, and so the 95 bolt is round full length.
Can a 93 bolt be modified for use in a 95 Mauser, and if so, what will I need to do? 93 bolts seem to be available at reasonable prices, but not so with the 95. Far fewer 95's made I guess. TIA

Pappa, I've never done this. My first thought is assuming the bolt headspaces correctly are you sure you'd have to do anything? I don't have a 95 action on hand but just looking at a 93 bolt I would think radiusing the flat bottom as closly as possible to the correct diameter should work. If I were going to do this I'd put it my dividing head supported with a center and take small cuts maybe .010" at a time turning the bolt only a degree or two between cuts until it was very close then polish/ blend to the correct radius.
