Mauser 24/47 bolt locked in reciever-advice

Just got all the casmoline out and refinished this 24/47. When I put the bolt back in it wont cock, budge or anything. I am so frustrated, I am very strong but this wont budge. Any advice on how to get this undone?

Sounds like the rear screw is the culprit. Loosen the rear guard screw. It is probably protruding through the action tang and locking the striker in place. If that is the issue, once you get it out make sure the bedding pillar is in place around the rear screw. If it is missing, buy one from Brownells, Numrich, or wherever.

ref: help

Thanks scorch, however its not the rear screw(awesome you tried to help so quick) . Here are some other observations the cocking piece appears to be in a cocked position (when I compare it to M-48). The rear of the fire pin however is not all the way out. The safety is in the fire position but will not move up to center or right.

Is the action out of the stock? The reason I ask this is that it sounds like the trigger sear has moved forward somehow. If the striker is in the rearward position, the safety should engage. The only thing I can think of that would prevent the bolt from cocking is a mechanical blockage, such as the action screw protruding into the travel way in the top of the tang or a metal part blocking the striker movement.

Scorch rules

Hey scorch its a mechnical issue, but I got the bolt out by disassembling the trigger and pulling back the cocking piece. I have some another spare bolt around I will canablaize that. Anyways you got me on the right track, thanks my friend!!!!
