Marlin Model 60 tactical stock

Does anyone know if and where I can find a tactical stock for my marlin model 60. I have found a couple but I want and AR style with the telescoping stock and pistol grip.

Mod 60

Dear Sir:
Yes, the Marlin Mod 60 is a fine set-up - there have been, I think, more than a million made!
However, I feel that investing in a new stock for the Mod. 60 is just not indicated. You, if you really want one look at Midway USA, or Brownells, or even still Boyd gunstocks.
I say this because it is apparent that you want the 60 in a "combat" configuration. The 60 has many small parts and springs and I've had malfunctions (few) that would not let me feel comfortable with its use in that package.
Hwever, if you really want one I'm sure you can find one at the above firms.

don't think you will find it

The demand for that kind of set up with the marlin rifle just isn't there. The best thing about the Marlins is that they have steadily improved the rifle over the years and you can swap out parts to the newer style and have yourself a fine feeding rifle that shoots rather well. That can't be said of all rifles since they usually go backwards to being more cheaply made and getting worse.

With that said, there isn't any reason why you couldn't make it yourself if you just have to have one. If you cannot make it yourself, there are a couple of folks around thay most likely could do it for you, but you are going to have to pay for it.

I would advise you to get a Ruger 10/22 since it has those kind of stocks designed for it already and you can change out barrels as well as have all kinds of accessories for it in several catalogs readily available.
