Im currently in the process of restoring an old marlin 101 clone and I would like to know if any of know where I can find a fully assembled bolt.

Some other parts that need replacing are the trigger guard and buttplate.

And any recomendation on how to deal with slight piting and surface rust?

Thanks for any help.

Marlin 101

Good luck brother. I have a Wards Western-field 40 which is the same rifle. My dad was a gunsmith and reworked the entire gun re-blued and refinished stock. Beautiful. The guy he was doing it for was supposed to bring him the tube insert and the front part of the bolt. Dad finished it called the guy told him it was ready and owed him $150. and bring the parts so he could finish it. The guy said he didn't have the parts and he changed his mind and just keep it. It has the little peep sight on the left side. Beautiful looking gun that will never shoot again. I bought a couple of bolt parts from Numrichs but I can't get it to assemble and my dad passed a few years ago. I'm looking in pawn shots and on line for a junker for parts. Good luck. No complete bolts at Numrichs.

Me To

I have a sears and roebuck mode 41-103 19771 which is a marlin model 101 that was given to me by the son of an elderly woman who I worked for. IT is missing the bolt and I to am searching for one.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
