Marlin Lever action - Ashley vs. Williams peep sight

I will be purchasing the Marlin 336W at Walmart. For $265, it looks like a great deal. My question is which peep sight? The Ashley Outdoors is about $90. The Williams is $35. Anyone have an opinion between the two?

No experience with the Ashley but have heard only good things about it. I do not know if it uses the original front sight or if it must be replaced. I'm sure another member will know the answer to that issue.
Have the Williams on my Marlin 1894P and am pleased to date. It takes 5 minutes to install and once set seems very rugged. Another peep sight to consider usually priced about 1/2 way between the Ashley and Williams is the Lyman. Again easy to install and I find easier to make adjustments to than the Williams. I am quite sure both the Lyman and Williams peep sights for the 336 use the factory front sight.
Take Care

Take a look at the Lyman 66 LA receiver sight. It's not a "ghost ring" per se, but it has its advantages. Comes with two removable peeps. I use the smaller for range work, the larger for hunting, and when both are removed, the housing provides a workable ghost ring. I'm very happy with mine. What I would like is a front sight with a tritium insert. ;)

I have the Ashley sights on my .444 Marlin. I went to the Ashley's after having two Lyman 66 sights come apart as I was sighting in for an upcomming hunt. I realize that a lot of this stuff is expensive and you have to weigh for yourself what you can afford, but I have found that you usually get what you pay for.
