Harley, I have heard the Golden 39A is one of the most accurate .22 rifles ever made. Would you agree with that?
I just bought what he says is a old one from a friend. Could you tell me how old it is by the serial number?
It has the little "bullseye" on the stock and a large take down screw on the right side plate. It also has the white "plastic" inlay between the buttplate and the stock, and also on the bottom of the wrist between the black piece and the stock.
The serial number is AB19799 and it has a gold trigger.It also has the micro-groove barrel.
I hope I got a good one!!The bore is mirror bright and there's hardly any wear marks on the moving parts.
