Ok I am going to attempt to upload a picture to see if anyone can assist me on finding the correct part number for the part indicated in the picture, it is a Marlin Golden 39A rifle and based on the schematics I have from Brownells I can't make out the actual part to order. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks,

Keith

Here's a better view:
http://www.stevespages.com/ipb-marlin-39a.html
(Part Number 50)

That's the Carrier and Carrier Rocker, which are old-style parts.
Brownell's will not have that part since they sell only parts for current production rifles.
The newer rifles use a spring-loaded plunger permanently riveted to the Carrier instead of the lever type rocker.

The old style Carrier Rocker was used in the Marlin 97, 39, and 39A, NOT the current 39-AS or the later 1980's 39-A.

I highly recommend buying the part from Jack First.
Their parts are usually NEW and unused:

Simply call and they ship FAST.

If they don't happen to have it in stock, here's several other sources:
http://www.gun-parts.com/marlin/

http://www.wisnersinc.com/rifles/marlin/rflever.htm
(Part number 7F)

Also www.gunpartscorp.com who show the parts in their catalog, but indicate not always available. There is also Marlin; if all else fails, call them and see if they can supply the parts or fit the new style parts.
