MARLIN 450

HAS ANYONE BOUGHT THIS NEW LEVER-ACTION FROM MARLIN? AND IF SO WHAT DO YOU THINK? I AM SHOOTING 350-375GR. HORNADY ROUNDS. ALL OPINIONS WELCOME. I JUST GOT MINE IN.

Ahhh stop yelling!! I have a headache.

As for the 450, I prefer the 45/70 loaded for a modern forearm. *shrugs* just my personal opinion. I think that the 450 is trying to fill a use that already has more than enough options.

If you take a look at the .450 Marlin one can see that it does what it does with only 350gr. bullets.

This can easily be accomplished with any new .45-70 firearm and with heavier bullets.

It will be sometime until factory loads for the .450 Marlin are used, if at all, but I think the old .45-70 will still do it one better.
