There is a marlin 375 chambered in 375win at a local gun shop for $450 is that a good buy. Gun is in good/very good condition and was made in early 80s any problems any one knows of?

Great gun, good cartridge if you reload. Reasonable price.

If you can't find brass I've made plenty by blowing 30-30 cases out to straight wall with a little pistol powder and corn meal.

375 Marlin?

you don't want it ! trust me. Now exactly where is that located ??
Just kidding, If it's in good shape, snap it up before it's " too late !! "
I have one, love it. Light, handy, and powerful. Accurate too! with my handloads I'm pushing a 200grn jfp @ 2400fps or a 220grn jfp @ 2180 and a 265grn lead gas check flat point @ 1950 fps, these all group right around 2" @ 100 yards & 5" @ 200. the 220's hit about an 1-1/2 lower than the 200's and the 265's hit a couple of inches lower than that( kentucky windage works). they all hit like a flying bus!! very reasonable price! buy it !! made between 1980-83 only 16000 or so units.

Great rifle , nice round to shoot, But factory ammo is HIGH dollar. Need to reload for this one . I shoot Hornady 220gr. over Reloader 7 , Win. primers .

$450.00 doesn't sound bad haven't shopped for a while so that maybe agood deal.

Not a bad price at all. I have this policy where I instantly try to get the seller to drop $75 to $100 if they don't stock ammo for it. It works about 50% of the time, especially if the gun has been sitting around a while. I snagged a Win 94 chambered for 32WS that way about a year and a half ago for $250.
