Marlin 375 Question?

I just got a mint 375 Marlin. This model has the pistol grip stock,I hate this on
lever action rifles. I was wondering if you can swap lower frame and lever
with a 336. I have done this on late model 94 Wins, but never did any parts
swapping on Marlins. Anyone done this swap- out?

I did the opposite for a customer last year (straight grip to pistol grip), so yes, it can be done. It's not cheap, though. You will need a new lever, new trigger plate, new mainspring support, new stock. The changeover took about 1/2 hour or so, so pretty straightforward: just take the rifle apart, change out the trigger parts, reassemble the action, mount the new stock.
