Marlin 335

Is there a Marlin 335 in existence, and if so, what do they look like?? Non local says he has one for sale, but I can't find anything on that model.

I got a 336 Marlin Lever action .35 remington caliber. Also comes in the more common 30-30 round.

My guess is that he means 336. I've hever heard of a 335, but have been wrong before.

yes there is a 335 marlin in .35 calibar i have one its called a carbine it is shorter than the 336

Wouldn't that be a 336SC ? Never heard of a 335 Marlin , I think that's because none exist !

Never heard of a 335 but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I have an older 336C and it's a pretty accurate an reliable gun.

There is no such thing. Its a 336 chambered in 35 Remington. Many simply call that rifle caliber combo a 35 Marlin.

Yeah, I found one. Looks like the roll stamp was wrong at the factory maybe. Who knows.

Glad you posted that link...I've got more Marlin books than I know what to do with and was searching like a madman for the 335 that doesn't exist

Yeah, its a weak looking last digit 6. I agree/concede that there is no 335. It was a fake.
