Just to let people know that rather than using expensive powders in large amounts in some cases. 6 Grains of Unique powder does the job. Ive reloaded over a thousand rounds out of one bottle!!!. Its pretty smooth to fire and when target comps come along is better than the harder recoil of other loads. Using 6.25 gr on a 155Gr bullet in Winchester Carts its economical and more accurate up to 100m

First off we have a reloading forum here on TFL and this post would be better served. Your not the first person to recommend using a pistol powder in a rifle cartridge, and it is often done with cast bullets. However, you should add a disclaimer when you post a load just to keep it safe and to cya.

The problem with pistol powders in a rifle case is it is easy to screw up an put a double charge in there when you are working with such a little amount of powder. I really don't like posting load data that hasn't been published previously, because what works in my rifles may not work in yours. Free advice so TIFWIW.

BTW welcome to TFL, and take a look around.

Double loading

No Probs, will put on the other forum and add a disclaimer, however when it comes to people double loading its a case of bad drills. Methodical work and checking the interior of each case at the end of the filling stage should be norms for a member of this forum.
Many thanks for your comments, with the prices of powder and bullet metal going up by the week in the UK I would like other 30/30 Marlin shooters to get the benefit.
