Marlin .22 rifle

My dad just gave me his old Marlin .22 rifle. It has a 10 shot tube fed magazine. The stock is pretty chewed up and I'm thinking about getting an aftermarket stock for it. I know that you can get just about anything you want for a Ruger 10/22, but what about a Marlin? Who sells aftermarket stocks and accessories for them? Thanks.

The model 60 Marlin is the most sold rifle of all time.
Almost any gunshop will have the info on accessories for that popular plinker. Even Wally World can probably give you info or parts.

Is it a semi-automatic? You didn't say. If it is, it's most likely a model 60.

I think you can get a replacement stock from Marlin Model 60 for around $50 or so. They have wood, laminated wood, and plastic availabe. Is the rest of the rifle in really good shape? If it's not, it might not be worth putting anything into since a new Model 60 goes for around $100.

For a cheap rifle, they shoot amazing well and are a lot of fun.
