Marlin 1895 cowboy Sight question

Got a question here. Bought a new marlin 1895 cowboy and didn’t like the rear sight. I put a Williams reciver peep sight on it and in the process of removing the rear stock sight when my punches get here. Will I be able to use the stock front sight with this Williams sight or do I need to change it out also. If so give me some recommendations please
 
I have changed out the front sights on my Marlins with a black, serrated ramp. It usually has to be higher with a receiver sight.
Cowboy action requires a barrel mounted rear sight. Many people use a full buckhorn rear sight and use it like a barrel mounted ghost ring. It works very well that way.
