Marlin 1894 CSBL Question

So I was looking at the new stainless marlin lever guns with a 16.5 inch barrel in 357 and it states they have a capacity of 6 according to their website.

https://www.marlinfirearms.com/lever-action/model-1894/model-1894-csbl

That seems relatively low to me for some reason when the new 1895 trappers with the same barrel length can fit 5 45-70 rounds (my 1895 sbl holds 6 45-70s with an 18.5 inch barrel).

I also have an older marlin 1894s trapper with a 16.25 inch barrel and I can fit 8 44 mags in the mag tube.

Is there a reason the new 357s have such low capacity?

1894c fits 9 .357 at 18.5 inch barrel and full mag tube.

A .357 Magnum is what, 1.5 inches in length?

So drop 2.0 inches of barrel and consequently mag tube and that equates to a little less then 2 rounds of capacity so you are down to 7. The tube looks a little short vs barrel so 6 doesn’t seem out of the question.

Just as an update, I did find and order one and it fit 8 rounds of 357 just fine.

Marlin’s website seems to have been updated as well and now lists capacity as 8 so I’m guessing they just copy/pasted the info from the 1895 SBL (which listed 6) when they first drafted the new page.

Yeah, it's the times we live in, where the customer does the proof-reading on the websites and has to figure out that what they say just can't be right. Marlin's not the only one. I've seen the same thing concerning the magazine capacity listed for Winchester's model 70 Alaskan in 30-'06; don't know if they fixed that yet.
